Inadvertent HDD formatting = beating myself up for doing so

we're not the ones formatting the wrong partition and losing all of our data that we don't back up properly.

Okay, as I said before, I already restored (and still am in the process of doing) most of the files I erroneously formatted. Yes, I made a HUGE and very stupid mistake, and yes, I know very well that I got mocked AND the crap beaten out of for it. But now that this issue is no longer existent, can't we all just move on and stop the bloody flaming!!? Seriously, since when does one's own stupidity give others the right, much less the privilege to make fun of said person? Sounds like alienation to me to me. Why do I always have to be the one that's picked on? More like ostracism.

I once 4KB aligned by HDD, and it broke the file system, but everything was still there, so i just copied it out, formated it to 4KB Fat32 and copied it back.
