ZSNES board

i've done that and although zsnes will now let me configure the buttons of the controller and seems to recognize them when pushed when I exit the zsnes screen to return to my game it still only recognizes the keyboard...I tried going to the devices page and set a button to switch the input mode betw...

I've had similar problems with the logitech dual action controller. only in my case zsnes will let me configure the buttons of the controller into the input device number 2 but then when i go to try and play the game the controller still doesnt work?
