I do not know about that. The only thing I know is that one of the hacks included in previous versions was fixing it. It is such a port I am interested in.

It would be a dream for one to put his own hands on a quick fix for that one, though.

Rom dumps of the Japanese cartridge of Little Magic bearing a CRC32 of 9654194d seem to suffer occasional freezes at the level-selection screen. Sorry to bring this up, but, like the OP, this game is the only one that doesn't seem to save on my machine. Using both the latest ZSNES and the SRAM check + save option. (Old GFX engine as noted in another post to avoid some graphical errors later on.) EDIT: the issue might well have arisen because...

I think, as noted in other threads, this (or most of this) is solved by switching to newengen=0 in the cfg. file.

Alright. I've just read further into this forum.. You're right. The game uses the Super Accelerator 1 (SA-1) chip, which zsnes does not seem to support. Well. I kind of hope that someday, someone somewhere will find that bugish post-v1.42 line of code that produces those freezes.
