It was a safe assumption. But it refuses to die.

Re: death of graphics
My old Alienware laptop had dual removable graphics cards. But I think he is referring to the drivers.

Re: So how about that there VIRTUAL REALITY stuff huh?
They were thirty bucks on clearance back in the day. In hindsight, I wish I'd picked up an entire shelf load. Fuckers are worth mad bank nowadays, if for all the wrong reasons. That's how I got mine, $30 after they had comercially failed. $2 per game, so I snagged every one that was there. Ended up...

Re: Newcomer to ZSNES needing help with Zelda:ALTTP
ESPECIALLY more detailed ones. Even Nintendo is guilty of slimming them down; check out the manual for new super mario bros u sometime. Most new Nintendo games just give you the controls, then they usually have a manual that can be read on the console, but it isn't the same. Reading the entire manu...

Re: Samsung Galaxy S4 announced today.
Yeah that list is pretty old, and most have been addressed in 4.2.1 and 4.2.2. Also, those are the bugs in AOSP, and any phone maker (or even custom rom builder) will clear those bugs up in their builds. Samsung's TouchWiz is a major customization and wouldn't stand for such major bugs.

Re: Windows 7 versions...
I've found most games have a workaround of some sort, or a community-made patch, to get them to work on modern OS's. Just the other day I was surprised to find the first Max Payne wouldn't run properly on Windows 7 x64, no audio, but a quick google search directed me to a patch that fixed it up just...

Re: GBA ROM scene shenanigans
aaaaaanyway, the pathetic nervous breakdown is a bit puke-inducing, but she gets better eventually. Not saying the game is the best thing that ever happened to metroid, but it only mangled the deep stuff of the main character instead of fucking the continuity further up. I'll take that and be happy...

Re: GBA ROM scene shenanigans
Meh, if those games are rape, then what is Other M? That game was HORRIBLE, and it destroyed the story even more.By continuation, you mean rape, right?
Save yourself the trouble and stay away forever.(Haven't played Another M yet.)

Re: Nakitek Game Saver+
I used to have one of these, but my memory of it is not as good. As I recall it usually took several trys for me to get it to work, if it ever did. I didn't usually use the battery feature either, proably becuase my mom already had to constantly give me 4 AA's for my gameboy all the time. Interestin...

No big deal, just delete any save files that might have been stored in the new locations then. Or not, it isn't like they will hurt anything.

Re: How to uninstall zsnes 1.36
Just delete the folder. Zsnes doesn't store anything else anywhere else, unless you have changed the save path, which I doubt you have.

Hey Bent, long time no see man! I've actually been around, just lurking though, hasn't been too much activity here for me to post about lately. Wow, I didn't think it had been that long, but now I see I've only had three posts since June of last year! Back to topic... I always wondered about that s...

Hmm… Although, this makes me wonder: if you took a GBC-exclusive game and put it into an SGB-compatible cartridge case — would it boot? (alternatively, cutting a notch in the GBC-exclusive cart to make it fit. :/) Actually I had wondered about the same thing years ago. I don't remember exactly what...

Atari800Win++ is still the best Atari 8bit emu, far as I know. Unless you wanna play the 5200 instead of the computers. Then it's incredibly frustrating, and hackish beyond belief. UGH! </tangent> So has anyone made a decent 5200 emu yet? I think this was the last one I used, and it was pretty much...
