New and awesome game(s)
This is my first post on the ZSNES boards, which is interesting because I've been using ZSNES for like five years now, anyway...
I got The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on the day it came out for GameCube. I personally think it's the best Zelda game to come out EVER! Of course, it's closely rivaled by Ocarina of Time. I just wanted to ask other devoted gamers what they thought about it if they've played it, or if they haven't, what do they think they'll think about it if/when they play it. That last sentence might be a little confusing, but I think you get my question.
So, in my opinion, TLoZ:TP FTW!
Also, are there any other games for GC/PS2 or lower that you'd reccommend or want to rave about?

Yeah, that's one thing I noticed in the back of my mind, the game really didn't reward you for exploring... It was mostly Rupees or ammo of some kind. All that aside though, I loved the combat in TP. I thought it was great that they built on the counter-attacks from Wind Waker and made them "any-time-attacks" in TP.

I really enjoyed TP, but yeah, exploration was basically pointless. I did quite a bit anyway, but the game was too easy to make it worth getting all the hearts, bottles and bomb bags.
Still, I thought the storyline was superb, and I liked it a lot more than Ocarina of Time.
As for GC games, Paper Mario 2 is supposed to be pretty good.

Lol, I'm glad many of you agree. I really like how Nintendo made the different suits actually look like armor instead of simply changing the colors and saying they do different things. My personal favorite is the Zora Armor, but I'm strangely fond of blue things (sounds wierd, but it's true.) The Magic Armor is more of a pain in the butt than it's worth, but I LOVE how it looks and I came VERY close to having a use for it when I was near the end of the Cave of Ordeals.
As to the Paper Mario games, I quite thoroughly enjoyed playing both of them. In fact, I'm (lazily) playing the first one through again. I've never played Superstar Saga or Partners in Time, but I would like to.

I actually died a few times while wearing it because I forgot about the fire weakness being so severe (what is it, 8 times damage?).
"Ah, those fiery things that fall from the cieling (Why doesn't this damn game let you identify enemies by name?!). I'll just walk up to them and cut them."
(A second later)
"Ah, two hits, no problem."
(Another second later)
"...Huh? Why am I dead?"

Lol, I had some BAD experiences with my first run-through of the Cave of Ordeals. I was wearing the Zora Armor. The Moblins (are they Moblins?) that shoot the Fire Arrows shot me twice and I had like 3/4 of a heart left. I didn't notice that until about three rooms later. I was like, "WTF?"

I'm really looking forward to having Second opinion.kilivipin wrote:I was hooked on it until I realised that my Brain/body just was not capable of succeeding at the game. I enjoyed it a lot, though.sweener2001 wrote:Trauma Center - not new per se, but simply riveting. i haven't concentrated so hard on a game in good while.
