Every time I try to make a movie of Super Metroid on ZSNES it breaks in the middle of it. I have tried every version of ZSNES (including 1.51) and it ALWAYS happens. To the makers of ZSNES, please concentrate on fixing this in the next version.
I just wonder what he's doing to make his movie, since I made a Super Metroid movie with ZSNES back in May 2006 and I had no desyncing problems or anything like that.

I'm a computer programmer (in C++) and a future game designer.

If the movie is very long, it's possible for it to desync.
Try out CCleaner and other free software at Piriform
The only instances it would desync.. is if "Pause Emu in Background" is enabled on older versions (I'm pretty sure that is fixed in 1.51)... and it most certainly occurs if you ff/rewind/advance one frame.
When I mentioned those keys, those only apply to the movie while being played back, not when you are recording. You had not mentioned if the option I referred to was checked.
Weird, I made a ZMV of this game (rerecorded only, not slowed down) and it desynced at the Ceres station (third room after Ridley's in the escape sequence. I'll go make another one and see if it does it again.
Edit: I think you're right- it is because I fast-forward past the opening sequence. Can you try to fix that in the next version?
