Hmm. I loved playing that game, I wasn't particularly good as you were, but I managed beating it on easy in about 500 times dying.

I finally beat'd Ninja Gaiden!

...on the Wii Virtual Console. My NES would have burned up without the Wii's suspend feature.

CHILDS PLAY.

The N64 game's S.HARD difficulty is much, much, MUCH more of a challenge.

I don't know if hacks count, well this is a SERIOUS hack not just some lame impossible mario hack or something. No, this is Super Metroid Redesign

it is VERY hard, I don't know if I'll be able to make it through.

I advise:
any Charlotte class beyond her first
OR
Duran's light-dark (Lord)
OR
Kevin's light-dark (Warrior Monk)

As usual, if you plan on taking Charlotte, but not as your main character, take her in third position, so your roster gets full before Wendel (instead of back in Jad).

Angel Grails and Poto Oils (from Byzel's Black Market) are your friend. Make sure the person that throws that Poto Oil is the one that has the most Spirit for maximal healing.

I hope the lame impossible mario hack you're referring to isn't Super Demo World, because that thing is God is .smc format.

Anyway, my vote for most "impossible" game (at least that i've played )would be either Gradius III Arcade as has been mentioned (not the SNES Arcade difficulty, as the stage layouts are actually doable in that) or Mushihime-sama on Ultra difficulty. As far as I'm aware, no one has yet defeated the final boss without dying.

Then there's Mushihime-sama Futari, but.... eh... I'll only talk about game's I've actually played

What about that Nintendo game, made by some crazy japanese celebrity that "hates videogames"?
