Metroid Prime 3
Ohh boy did they improve over MP2's faults.
I'd write more but I'd spoil all the awesome and stuff. Which would make it less awesome and stuff.
Which is bad
... and stuff.
Get it. Right now.

Anyway yes, awesome game, beat it a few weeks ago. Was replaying it, but I stopped for Phantom Hourglass.

I didn't love it, I think it's lost so much of the lonely and terrifying atmosphere that saturated every square inch of Super Metroid. Also, while the controls worked and were fun I found myself wishing for two analog sticks.
Also, not nearly as important, but it genuinely just doesn't look that great on a reasonably sized 36" HDTV.

it still doesn't top SM IMO but it's certainly a step back into the right direction for me. The more moves they incorperate from the old games the more authentic it feels but I'm not going to get into that whole debate.
I'm kinda embarrassed I didn't think of the whole other region thing, it wasn't long ago I was living in a PAL region near Australia and we didn't get things till later either. I did start importing US stuff before I left though and just using a transformer (the electrical variety, not the super machines)

Is this three phase or single phase?
if three phase, is this wye or delta internal connection?
ALSO:

there is no power change. if you step down the voltage, your maximum amps go higher, your watts stay the same.

So does Rodimus Prime, but we don't talk about him.
Please see Transformers: The Movie(1980's one) for more details.

Gil, you missed my point.
I was talking about ELECTRICAL transformers not having a change in power.

I wasn't talking about the science of it. 110 and 240 are more names to me than numbers. Here let me paraphrase my meaning.
"it would have been cool having the machines from space convert my aussie power to american power, man are they cool."

But while using a transformer won't change the power, using a Transformer(tm) WILL change it, provided they are equipped with the Autobot Matrix of Leadership.adventure_of_link wrote:Gil, you missed my point.

Besides, he never said anything about boosting power. Just that Prime had poweeeeeeer.
