There's something wrong with the header in that rom; the number of prg/chr pages doesn't match the size of the file, so I treat it as an invalid image. I'll think of a smarter way of handling these (there are a few).

Any plans for FDS (Famicom Disk System) support or NES CPU overclocking (run the NES CPU at 2x speed to eliminate those massive slowdowns in Metroid, for example)?

FDS, yes. Overclocked CPU, no (though it could be added easily enough).

Another annoyance:
nemulator stores the SRAM files in the same folder as the ROM images which I find messy. Is it possible to set a separate location for the save files? There is such a setting for the screenshots, but none for the save files.

Just a loose example; I shot a feature film back around June of 2010, which I'm still not even half way through cutting.
Why?
Because I'm a film student that constantly has stuff to do for my course, not to mention the odd editing gigs I get on the side. And then I get all the life shit, like paying my bills, buying food and the occasional socialising so that I don't end up living like a hermit.
I'm pretty sure that people who code emulators on the side, for free, also have to prioritise their life shit so they don't starve to death/end up homeless/go crazy and shoot everyone.
Basically, if you're that impatient, feel free to code it yourself(or cut my film, I'd really appreciate it).

Yeah, most programmming jobs I hear have absolutely dreadful hours, leaving basically no free time. That's why a lot of projects just end up dying with the developers falling off the earth. A lot of closed source projects, too, which is very unfortunate.

For added emphasis, those things are split. I just tried out this emulator tonight, and, while the UI is very cool, what I really love is how smooth the scrolling is. There's no tearing, which is exactly what I was looking for in an NES emulator! Nice job, James. Thanks!
