Really don't understand why other thread was closed if the problem has not soloved.
Here again the problem:
I'm running ZSNES Emulatior on an ArcadeVGA Card in 640x240 or 512x240 or 320x240 Pixels (with same identical results).
With "Custom DR FULL" the image is ok, but horizontally it doesn't cover the entire screen (is very narrow).
With "Custom DS FULL" the image covers all the screen but gets stretched vertically with ugly doubled lines. The problem disappears and the image gets perfect if i enable 25% scanlines, but all gets darker.
So, I can work around the stretch if i enable 25% (or more) scanlines, although the picture gets somewhat darker.
Without scanlines option, the picture is nice and clean in horizonal ways, but some lines gets doubled vertically so the 224 base image fits into the 240 line video mode.
The only way to disable that behaviour so far, was to use scanlines, which disables vertical stretching.
Request - Custom Resolution with fixed Ratio-NOT SOLVED YET!

Try turning off Keep 4:3 Ratio for the custom resolutions that are not 320x240.Kernel wrote:Really don't understand why other thread was closed if the problem has not soloved.

Don't expect a fix since I have no idea what you are seeing. A patch wasn't even provided in that thread, so I'm at a loss.
Ultimately, you should be using a Windowed mode if you are not liking your options.
Edit: Though, I think I've found it...

Try this - http://rapidshare.com/files/144685985/ZSNESW.zip.html
If it doesn't change anything, then I'm done looking into this for now. What I wrote is not a mistake, since the ArcadeVGA people have been very annoying (not respectful) regarding the smallest detail.

Just thought I'd chime in here. I'm an ArcadeVGA user and I'm very grateful for all the hard work you've put into zsnes. Thanks!Deathlike2 wrote:Try this - http://rapidshare.com/files/144685985/ZSNESW.zip.html
