Abusing semi-colons is my hobby. Anyways, I put the .srm file in the same folder as the game file, renamed it, opened up the game, looked at the saved games, and there's only one there. I guess this saved game doesn't work? if you go to page 1 you can find the link to the saved game, maybe someone ...

Only happens when in battle with certain enemies. Yes! Is there a ROM that has this fixed? No, doofuss. It's an emulation bug. RTO iirc. Wow, it's necessary to call me a name because I was unaware of something. Thank you (and you Agozer) for telling me it has to do with emulation. I thought it migh...

I cannot confirm this bug on my system, with ZSNESw CVS and Windows XP SP2. However, I have a problem with the file when the path to my save directory is relative. When relative (i.e. ./saves), it will save in my ROM folder and not my save folder. When absolute, it seems to work just fine; it goes ...

Try this, just for shits and giggles if nothing else: 1. Extract ZSNES into a new folder, like C:\Zsnes. 2. Put your Chono Trigger rom image into the same folder, and rename the file to chrono.[whatever the extension is]. 3. Put the save file into the same directory and rename it chrono.srm 4. Star...

Question about Final Fantasy III. (ZSNES 1.42)
Randomly, my cursor disappears. I know that doesn't happen to a good dump of the game. I'm guessing it's the ROM, but it doesn't seem to happen in SNES9X, so I'm starting to think otherwise.
Any suggestions?

...if you know the game Chrono Trigger ,which i don't (yet). That's pretty pathetic. And that's how S-S derails another thread. Please keep on topic. Carry on. Quite right. ZSNES seems to be functioning pretty well, now, albeit the noise that persists inside my case (only when ZSNES is open, no mat...

Thanks for all the responses guys, but I'm still not having the best of luck. High Priority Mode didn't really fix my problem; must have been something else. Anyway... I'm not sure what it is, but whenever I open ZSNES (any version, it seems) my hard drive (possibly) gets drastically louder (could b...

Yeah... it has nothing to do with that. I have more than enough free RAM. In truth, I really need to reformat. It's been too long.sith-smasher wrote:It's obvious some program that is recently installed is sucking up more of your CPU's power.
Edit: oops the message above mine was posted when i was typing mine.

That a question only are capable of finding the answer. To help you get started, what kind of software/hardware have you install prior to the problem? Yeah, quite right. I didn't install anything prior to the problem. I had an older version of ZSNES, and it worked fine. I think it was 1.40 or 1.41....

why did this need to be enabled now, but not before? A version confliction, perhaps? High Priority mode usually gives more trouble on *most* systems, rather than doing any good. Hence why it is disabled by default. I understand that, but... why did I have it working well before without it enabled? ...

Hm. Are there any processes running in the background that might consume resources (a lot I mean)? No, not at all. I have 256 megabytes of RAM, and the only thing I had open was my browser. You could enable High Priority Mode in the Options menu and see if it helps. This seemed to fix the problem. ...

I'm not sure how or why this happened. Whenever I play a game with ZSNES, it freezes up every six or eight seconds for about half a second. It was working fine just the other day, and I've tried various versions to see if they worked. None did. I don't see what could've created this problem, since I...
