Try tweaking the sound frequency rate from the default to 44KHz or 48KHz. Make sure "Use Primary Buffer" is not checked. If neither solution works, your sound card drivers suck. Yeah I have tried it but I guess these sound drivers are supposed to be for windows 98 but that's why I bought ...

I suggest if you have never done this before try it out on a game you don't care much about and then try it out in your baby. You don't want to make mistakes with FF3!
