I wouldn't blame it on them. You make changes, code moves around. They'd have to go out of their way to make a new version work with the Game Genie, and why would they go nuts for such a thing? And if you were thinking, hey maybe they only made a new version so they can move code around, not true, ...

its because thats what i officialy own on a real snes and id like to play it the exact same way as i do on the real snes (and yes i know its slower by 10 fps approx.) This has been around a long time, I remember seeing it from waaay back, though I never reported it or attempted to play through the game very far. I actually am a bit surprised with all the progress since then that this wasn't fixed, but eh.. Maybe it's something obscure.

Interkleaving means that the data on the ROM is scrambled. The data needs to be de-interleaved before (Z)SNES can work with the data. Some copiers interlave the data by default AFAIK.
