Re: ZSNES is not dead - Still in development
Madness? No! This! Is! BYUU! Seriously, though. I want a working emulator. I don't care about how accurate it is so long as it supports the games I want to play and runs reasonably well on the system I want to play them on. One of the biggest reasons I don't use BSNES is because ZSNES does precisely...

Re: Final Fantasy VI (III) issue
I suggest, instead, that ZSNES have something similar to this as a splash screen, because this thread and its OP are both stupid.

No, that would be Google's marketing department.
You're welcome to source-dive and prove me wrong, though.

Re: I hate Linux
No. By unchecking all of the encircled checkboxes, you disable all of Chrome's tracking. I have confirmed this with one of Google's engineers, who actually works on the damn thing. Unlike you. And you may interpret the periods in the above as being "you fucking idiot". Since, y'know, you a...

Re: I hate Linux
I'm a bitter old fart. I use Seamonkey, as begotten from Mozilla Suite, as begotten from Netscape Navigator, as begotten from Mosaic. All this new-fangled googlebox and search toolbar and no menubar nonsense is for sissies. REAL MEN use apps with a GUI from 1993(or 2003). x2 Iceape for myself (Debi...

Re: I hate Linux
Never use Iron. It rips out all the tracking. Including things that just have 'Tracker' in the name and are otherwise irrelevant (which an actual developer would know is irrelevant). Plus, the fact that it's independently maintained does indeed mean it's going to be out of date. But hey, if you're s...

Re: Save States
Is it at all possible to redesign the save state feature so you can save to file instead of save to state? The reason i ask this is, unless you write down which game save state between 1-10 for each game you play, its easy to forget which slot has your save game data. So if you were able to save th...

This post is relevant; it seems Debian's zsnes release likes to abort on exit, which causes the exhibited behaviour. Follow the instructions in the aforementioned post and report back, please.

It appears to be a problem with the distribution-supplied build of ZSNES, as I've encountered the same issue but resolved it by building my own binaries for 1.51. Please see the 'installing zsnes from svn' howto's build instructions [aside from svn] and build 1.51 yourself. If the issue doesn't pers...
