Right...
I'm "back". But only to explain why I have left(Since I heard some of you have been asking). and then I will leave again. Long story short: I like to be able to have discussions that are above the level of personal attacks and such things, and some people here are not, or were not capable ...

"Turn off harddisks" and S-ATA
It seems that it doesn't work to tell the computer to turn off S-ATA-disks to save energy. The disks turn off after X minutes of inactivity, but they don't spin up again when they need to be accessed. Is there a way to fix this or is it just the way the swap works? Yes I did google on it but didn't ...

.Mod music samples?
I'm doing tunes in .mod and .xm format using milkytracker, but I'm starting to feel rather limited with the samples I have. So, does anyone know of a free sample library I could use? Preferably one that has chip-like samples and drums in it. Thanks.

That's the one I use. My last power supply died an early death as well.. so I wanted something that would last, and I can really recommend them. They have high efficiency and are nearly silent.

"open with..." is messed up.
Whenever I click "open wirth..." for "unknown" fitel types, the file opens in notepad, rather than letting me chose what program to use.. I was thinking it might be a registry issue, maybe it is, but running regsupreme pro on it didn't help.. so I'm kind of stuck, any idea what m...

Assuming there are beeps for that very thing yes. I do suggest rtfm and make sure everything is put in correctly, including the extra power the processor is supposed to get from the PSU. Also, make sure your PSU uses a 24-pin connector... a 20-pin to 24-pin covertor is not guarenteed to be reliable...
