WIN: Added 1600x1200 FDR/FDS. [Aerdan]
WIN: Fixed corrupted graphics when alt-tabbing [pagefault]
MOV: Powercycling sequence corrected, should now work with everything - thanks to pagefault for pointing out the errors [grinvader]
SRC: Cleaner code for repackfunct, it was rather pitiful. [grinvader]
SRC: Little source cleanup in spc700.asm [grinvader]

EDIT: 1680x1050 FDR was never committed, and the frameskip code was rolled back before the WIP, changelog has been modified to reflect this

Note: This doesn't actually have a 1680 x 1050 video mode. Just the 1600 x 1200 ones.

I saw the changelog yesterday, but there were no binaries... Now things are better.

sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

It appears that someone didn't commit my latest hires.tbz2 code, then, cos that has 1680x1050.

Also I would like to mention that some games may be buggy due to DMA changes. This is a work in progress like everything else. But you can see where we are going with this as SFA2 and SSF2 graphic problems are now totally fixed.

I really, really hate to sound like I'm ungrateful, but this is marked DR, when it should be DS. Would it be possible to add a DR mode, basically 1280x960 DR FULL with more borders?

Just a thought, those DMA fixes better come quick... because the grass used in some of the Super Mario All Stars games really hurt the eyes.

If you want to revert to the old DMA, just do it yourself, it's a single line.

Please remember this is a work in progress build. This is not stable. If you want a stable release use 1.42.

Idea for ipher for WIPs:

You might want to package a "warning.txt" file or "readme.txt" file or whatever with the releases that says that WIPs are unstable and should not be regarded as official releases. Mention that some features may not be fully functional and that some games may be broken. You may also want to refer them to the 1.42 release for a documentation.

Actually.. I think it would be better to have a warning after a release that does something significant. You had a release months ago with some drastic changes and you said not to report the effects of some of the changes (unless it was some show stopping bug) since you were going to fix it in subsequent changes.

In the same way, the DMA changes are very similar and should have been handled like before.

I have to say I'm rather impressed by the latest WIPs. The fastforward/slowdown options, the dramatic improvement to the buggy sounds in square games, and the many other improvements which would take too long to list out. I've been using Zsnes for 7 years(?) now, keep up the great work.

The hack disabler will come in handy - no need for a separate build for this now.

I have to ask, only beacue that I have had 2 hours of sleep in the last 48+ hours, does that mean the hacks are back in, but those of us who like to test games without them can disable them?

There were always hacks in ZSNES. However you can disable the ones that are in ZSNES if you want.

Looks like ipher (or whoever) forgot to update the links to the WIP... However, you can still download it by changing the URL manually (20 instead of 13).

Anyway, keep up the good work guys... Being able to disable hacks will probably help making more precise bug reports and all...

The link is there, just not on the left side. Just check under Current WIPs.
