i hate nestopia's sound. it feels too one sided to me even in stereo mode and biasing the audio to one side doesnt fix this... i seriously don't remember the NES doing that because it never gave me headaches so quickly. (occurs both in stereo and mono) You're not alone. I absolutely notice the same...

Lower frame rate and different color system. >.> The PAL frame rate is still well above the max frequency the (human) eye detect. So what does it matter if it does 5 frames less a second, when we can't even detect it!?!?!? :P Uh-Oh.... Not that old myth again...... http://amo.net/NT/02-21-01FPS.htm...

Remember Shadowgate/Deja Vu/The Uninvited?? Any others??
Damn, I loved those games. Almost impossible without a faq, but back in the old days before gamefaqs, when it was just me and my Nintendo, it was fun to feel like you were plowing through the labyrinthine depths of those games, with no walkthroughs, no tips, just trial and error. Any other games lik...

Logitech Rumblepad 2. It's awesome. Seconded. I've used quite a few gamepads over the years and this one is my favorite for emulation, by far. Only problem is, I'm still looking for a Nintendo64 solution. I missed the boat on the N64 Adaptoids, and the cheap usb adapters I've gotten off of ebay don...

Just wanted to confirm, this problem still exists on 8800 series cards even with the very latest beta drivers (174.xx). My laptop with an integrated ATI chip has no problems running NTSC mode, but my high-end desktop hasn't been able to do it with an 8800GTS or 8800GT. NTSC filter causes instant cra...

Popful Mail translation?
This isn't a request, just a question as to whether or not anyone knows of an English translation of Popful Mail for the SFC? This was basically a really fun (and cute) side-scroller/RPG (trust me it works). A very fun and unique game, but also very Anime in look and feel...I can only guess that at ...

Hmmmmm some weird things in this thread. In terms of 3D rendering, my understanding is that Triple Buffering is only relevant when VSYNC is enabled.... I guess you're saying in ZSNES it can utilize Triple Buffering whether or not VSYNC is enabled??... Also, V-SYNC *WILL* traditionally reduce perform...

Wait wait guys....you ARE using scanlines at either 640x480 or 1280x960 right? I agree they look absolutely horrible otherwise. Just to get that out of the way. WHAT THE??....he's right! I'm running it at 1280x960 and the scanlines look excellent. Thank you mysterious wiseman. People have come and ...

Hmmm... No offense but regardless of what your mother says (and I'm not even looking at a TV to type this), I'm going to put my neck out and say I'm fairly certain television scanlines are in fact horizontal and not vertical. As far as not having a tv close enough...who said it was a problem? I pref...

IMO scanlines are horrible - black lines defacing the screen that looks nothing like a real TV mask. What's wrong with TV-out? Why similate a TV when you can use a real TV which looks better anyway? (I'm assuming you have a TV). You assume wrong. I do not have access to a tv to use with my computer...

[REQ] More scanline options
One feature I have *ALWAYS* wanted to see in ZSNES. The major feature I have always wanted would be more scanline options... Personally 25, 50, etc are not good enough for me. ePSXe has a nice full range of scanline options. I imagine 10 or 15% would be best for me. Is it possible for the ZSNES team...
