The black border is more or less supposed to be there. There's noting actually wrong, it's just a computer monitor is different from a TV. The picture doesn't get stretched the same way on a monitor as it does on a TV.

The game randomly crashes like that, but if you create a save-state before a random crash, it will always crash at the same point.

Actually, the best way to fix it is to turn of the in-game music via the game's options menu. Do that and it'll work perfectly.

Actually, I've found turning the in-game music off (via the game's options, not using ZSNES' GUI) fixes the crash problem. You don't have any in-game music, but that's a minor detail. A fairly big issue, really. Because the ingame music is so damned awful. Good luck getting the Boombada spell thoug...

I have two computers and the WIP is an average of 5 frames faster than 1.36 on my other computer. I have a pretty old computer (PII 233, 64 megs of ram), but it's sufficient for what I use it for. I've never needed to use Vsync or the triple buffer so I can't comment on them.

I don't have a problem changing it back and forth from 70 to 100%, I was just wondering if it was something I had to consider.
